The things people ask before booking.
Stop and tell us before anything is cut or moved. Knotweed is controlled waste, it has to go to a licensed facility under its own paperwork, and moving it in an ordinary green load risks spreading it and breaching the law. It is entirely manageable when it is known about in advance.
A little root soil is normal and expected. A load that is substantially soil is not green waste any more, it is inert, and it will be priced as such at the gate. If you have a lot of both, we would usually move them separately.
Yes, with a bit of notice. They are dense and awkward, so they affect which vehicle we send and how the load is priced. Mention them when you enquire rather than leaving them beside the heap.
Usually, yes. Green waste composts and has a straightforward onward route, so gate fees are lower than mixed. It is also bulky, so keeping it out of a mixed skip saves twice.
Yes. For a large clearance a grab or tipper is normally cheaper than a run of skips, because you are paying for far fewer movements. Tell us the size of the site and we will work out which way round is cheaper.
